This rounded 'Moon Vase' was hand thrown on the potters wheel using porcelain clay. It stands about 6 inches tall and is 6.5 inches wide with a rounded opening at the top. The beautiful red/blue crystalline glaze has covered the piece with  crystals creating a dramatic and dynamic glaze which suits the vase perfectly. This is a unique ceramic creation which would make a perfect special gift or as a stand alone piece of ceramic art.
Crystalline glazes are difficult and unpredictable to produce but for me that just adds to the excitement of creation, making each piece truly a one off. Thank you for your interest.
