This tall flared necked crystalline glazed vase stands about 12 inches tall and was hand thrown on the potters wheel using porcelain clay. The shape is  classical, perfect for displaying flowers and as a stand alone piece of ceramic art. The crystals are a deep royal blue set in a background of speckled brown creating a truly unique piece of ceramics.
I never repeatedly make the same shape, instead when I sit at the wheel I let the clay and my imagination determine what I make. Therefore every piece is unique and different, no two being the same. It is this individuality which fires my imagination and I hope you like this piece as much as I do.
Crystalline glazes are difficult to produce and are fairly rare in the ceramic world but I find them fascinating adding to the uniqueness of each creation.
