This beautiful bulbous blue crystalline vase was hand thrown on the potters wheel. The spectacular blue crystals have produced a dynamic surface glaze which compliments the flowing shape of the vase. The crystals you can see are a natural occurrence and not an added decoration. The results are entirely dependant on the glaze formula and firing schedule and when form and crystals combine as they have done here it produces ceramic art.
