This stunning shallow bowl is 13 inches in diameter and is about 2 inches tall. It is a unique one of kind piece of ceramic art. The golden crystalline glaze has created a fascinating internal formation of overlapping crystals. I threw this piece on the potters wheel using about 4 pounds of porcelain clay before letting it dry to the leather hard stage. I then trimmed the base and sides to create the bowl you can see. It is a dynamic and vibrant piece of ceramic art and would make a wonderful centre piece in any home.
