This elegant deep blue crystalline vase stands 9 inches tall and is about 8 inches at the widest point. The vase was hand thrown on the potters wheel using a mixture of porcelain and stoneware clay before being fired twice to very temperatures to create the crystals in the surface of the glaze. This is a unique one off creation which would be perfect for flower displays. It would also make a wonderful centre piece of ceramic art in any home.
Crystalline ceramics are very hard to produce with a very high failure rate, hence the rarity of this type of pottery, but it does mean that each piece is very individual and special. Thank you.
