This 15 inch tall straight sided bottle form was hand thrown on the potters wheel using porcelain clay. Once leather hard the piece was trimmed into the shape you see here. The blue crystalline glaze has produced distinct crystals around the entire form adding to the beauty of the shape. Crystalline glazes are hard to produce but when form and crystals combine it can produce outstanding pieces of ceramic art. This is a totally original piece of art as I never reproduce the same shape over and over again, so you can be sure that this will make a wonderful centre piece.
