This is a classic oriental shaped flower vase in a green/blue crystalline glaze. The photographs dont really bring out the fine detail of the crystals which cover the surface of the vase and which create a vibrant and dynamic surface. This vase was hand thrown on the potters wheel using a mix of porcelain and stoneware clay before being trimmed and fired twice to very high temperatures. The crystalline glaze has covered the entire vase with a fine crystal covered surface.
This is a unique piece of ceramic art and would make a very indiviual gift for any home.
