This narrow necked blue and black crystalline vase was hand thrown by myself on the potters wheel using porcelain clay. The blue crystals on the black background create an impression of floating clouds on a dark sky or a planetary view of space. The vase stands over 10 inches tall with a narrow rounded neck that would make a spectacular flower vase or stand alone ceramic art piece. 

Each of my creations are entirely unique so you can be sure of having a special piece of ceramics. Crystalline glazes are hard to produce and the results are unpredictable which adds to the individuality of each and every form I make. The blue crystals on this piece are not an added decoration but have formed in the surface of the glaze during the firing; the result creates a sense of movement and dynamism. This is a very special piece of crystalline ceramics.
