This beautiful deep green crystalline vase was hand thrown on the potters wheel using a mixture of porcelain and stoneware clay. The large, lighter green, crystals cover the entire form creating a totally unique piece of ceramic art. The crystals you can see are not an added decoration but are real crystals that form in the surface of the glaze due to the special glaze formula and firing schedule. This is an exceptional piece and is a fine example of crystalline glazed pottery.
