This green crystalline glazed bottle for was hand thrown on the potters wheel using a mixture of porcelain and stoneware clay. The long thin neck is extremely difficult to throw but accentuates the beauty of the rounded bottle form. The green crystalline glaze has an organic feel which adds to the elegance of the finished piece. Crystalline glazes are difficult to produce and have a high failure rate hence the relatively scarcity of this type of pottery.
