This tall elegant flower vase stands 13 inches tall and is 6 inches in width. It was hand thrown on the potter's wheel, using a mixture of porcelain and stoneware clay. The elegant shape is influenced by Greek and Roman pottery, but enhanced with a crystalline glaze of my own creation. The lighter blue crystals float on the dark background, giving the piece a sense of movement and drama. Each piece I make is unique as I always let the clay and my mood dictate what I create and never simply repeat the same shape or design.
